Modern Day Slavery Act Transparency Statement

1. Overview

Modern day slavery and human trafficking have sadly been found to still be in existence today and continues to be a global challenge. At Helio Intelligence, we believe we all have a responsibility to be vigilant to the risks that may exist, however remote, in our organisation and those whom we work with in our supply chain. We are confident that by empowering our staff, through education, we can raise awareness of these issues and provide a friendly, open and supportive environment, whereby individuals can raise concerns freely. Helio Intelligence expects members of its management team to act upon any concerns raised without undue delay.  

 

2. Organisational Structure

With a history dating back to 1998, Helio Intelligence is the parent group of several established entities, including DeHavilland Information Services Limited, Forefront Advisers Limited, and OPP Group SRL. These strategic acquisitions have significantly expanded our geographic reach and have enabled us to continually enhance and deliver our services to our rapidly growing customer base. We now proudly serve over 1,000 customers across the UK and Europe, reflecting the quality and value of our services in a rapidly evolving political and regulatory landscape. Helio Intelligence is headquartered in London, United Kingdom, has satellite offices around the UK and in the European Union (Brussels, Belgium). Additionally, Helio Intelligence, as of 2025, employees approximately 120 people globally.    

Helio Intelligence is also backed by Bowmark Capital and Bridgepoint Growth. Our investors have helped fuel our rapid expansion and technological transformation. We have invested in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technology as we believe this will enhance the experience for our customers, providing quality and timely insights.

We are a leading provider of political and regulatory intelligence services across the United Kingdom (UK) and Europe.  

We deliver real-time political monitoring, bespoke analysis, and policy insights to help our customers navigate complex legislative and regulatory environments. We are at the forefront of political intelligence helping our customers stayed informed through the insights our services provide, resulting in improved outcomes for our customers. 

 

4. Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain includes the sourcing of hyperscale infrastructure services on which our service is hosted, digital software solutions and computer hardware which enable us to service the demand for our products and services. We also utilise third party organisations to complement our capabilities enhancing some aspects of our business operations.   

 

5. Due Diligence

As part of our commitment to identifying and mitigating potential risks we conduct due diligence on suppliers, including: 

  • Risk assessments  
  • A review of contractual clauses 
  • A review of organisation’s track record (reputation) 
  • Periodic supplier assessment questionnaires 

Furthermore, we: 

  • Where possible, look to establish long standing relationships with key suppliers. 
  • We expect our suppliers to perform their own due diligence; however, we do not actively pursue this.  

 

6. Training

Helio Intelligence ensures all employees are made aware of the issue of modern-day slavery and human trafficking through learning materials which are widely available throughout the company. Our training includes: 

  • How to identify signs of modern-day slavery  
  • Reporting mechanisms 
  • Ethical sourcing practices 

 

7. Review of Effectiveness

Helio Intelligence makes use of the following to measure the effectiveness of our efforts in ensuring that modern day slavery and human trafficking does not take place within any aspect of our organisation or supply chain.  

 

8. Review of Statement

This policy will be reviewed at least annually, or when significant changes occur in Helio’s business operations, regulatory environment, or threat landscape.
